Journaling and winnings!

Question: What is the best way to spend a Sunday? Answer: Art journaling at Dyan's place of course! I have had a very relaxing day and I even did as I was told today which is unusual for me because I usually go off on a tangent. So this is a journal page Dyan style. Lots of doodling, colouring in, and BIG writing! This is a journal page to go in my bigger journal. I haven't done anything in that one for a while as it has gone on an exciting little journey but more about that later............
However I didn't quite stick to the rules. We were supposed to choose a magazine image but I decided to alter the head of a model from a magazine and make a body and crown from a photocopy of a previous journal page I had done:

And look at this lovely loot!

A while ago I won a prize on Dyan's blog for this journal page using a queen image from Lisa's Altered Art and this was my prize! Yayy! Lots of lovely Blonde Moments papers as well as rub-ons, labels, tags and other goodies from 7Gypsies. Ooooh! Thanks Dyan :-)
Bye for now

  12. Thank you so much for visiting again!! I really appreciate it as I am new to all this mixed media!! I looove coming over here to see your work...it is awesome!! I didn't know what woodless watercolor pencils were either. I went to a local store and was thrilled to discover she had Lyra watercolor crayons. She let me try them, and then she suggested I try these woodless pencils, just pure pigment pencils, wrapped in paper, without the wood around the outside. I tried them and thought they were great, none of that waxyness, because I like to draw on top later with white gel and black sharpies. You can just use one of those water tube brushes and brush the tip right on the tip of the pencil, and the color is divine! Anyway, you don't need them, because your work is awesome!!
