Angelic art journaling.


'Hark the herald angels sing, glory to the new born King'! Ahhhh, just warming up .... well, it is nearly December ;-) This page began as another messy background and I decided to add an angel. 

Here's a few progress pics so you can see how it grew from the beginnings of collaging some interesting papers on the background. I love catalogues ... not all catalogues, but nice ones! They make lovely art journal backgrounds. And I love the way some of these papers still show through at the end - such as the flowers in the angel body, and the clock.

    Hi Kate love the latest journal page. Not had time to journal soup fabric or paper based oh the pressures of uni deadlines. However, I still enjoy seeing your work and that of others on the FB page. So thanks for sharing x:)

    fantastic, the colours are so vibrant too. What range of acrylics do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

      Hi Wendy - here I used Amsterdam standard range by Talens. Cheap and cheerful but lovely colours! I also used Polychromos pencils, and Portfolio oil pastels.
