The other day I was browsing the art books on Amazon (as you do) and I stumbled across Art Doodle Love by Dawn deVries Sokol and it just so happened to fall into my basket ;-)
And I'm so glad it did. I'm in love with this little bundle of juicy artiness! It's a bit like 'Wreck this Journal' for grown-ups LOL! It's full of gorgeous backgrounds and great journal prompts.
Last night I sat in front of the TV, glass of wine in hand, and pens and pencils spread out all over the floor in front of me, and spent a happy hour (or two) just doodling.
And it was fun. Really fun. Watch this space for more art journal doodling ;-)
Love your doodles and color as usual. Thanks for the tip on the book. Will be ordering it as soon as I get through with this comment.

Ah, I love this page! I've heard about about this book but hadn't looked into it too much. I am seriously about to go on an Amazon shopping spree I think.
ReplyDeleteAnd after years of being a 'blue girl', I've become obsessed with pink and orange lately - colours I always admired from Teesha Moore, but just couldn't seem to pull off. Now I can't seem to use anything else.
Love seeing your journal pages, Kate.
