Lots of journaling ...

Inks, stencils, vine stamp by Dylusions
'Mink', sentiment and Abstract Foliage stamps by Stampotique

ANother Christmas journal page ... sorry if I come across as a bit of a scrooge LOL!! I do cheer up a bit nearer the time - honest! I just can't stand Christmas adverts, and Christmas carols in the shops as soon as bonfire night is over. TOO EARLY!!

Here's a quickie page in my large Dylusions journal.  If you haven't yet got hold of one of these journals, you must!! You need one. They are fabulous with ink sprays, and of course, not all journals are.

And finally ... I have been taking a fabulous on-line class with Mindy Lacefield. Mindy is an amazing artist and teacher, and she has been teaching me how to paint like a child :-) Seriously, I could get lost in this process. This page is exactly how Mindy demoes it, so now my challenge is to take it a step further and make it my own.

Seriously, go and check out Mindy's on-line classes.....

Byee for now .....

  6. Your pages are gorgeous and so fun! Bah Humbug here, so I don't want to stay too long. I hate that Christmas comes so quickly each year, but once they start the music I'm totally sucked in! So I like that it starts early. (please don't throw things at me! LOL)

  13. Hi Kate, Love everything the colors and most especially thetruth about Christmas. I love Christmas, but can't stand the over commeralization of it. My daughter went shopping last week at her local mall and there was already a Santa. As she said "REALLY", can't even wait till Thanksgiving. As usual you inspire me to get going. Diane

  16. Oh your Christmas page made me laugh so much - and I'm totally with you! It dilutes the magic to have it start so ridiculously early. That other page is very different - sounds like a good experience to challenge you??
