Friend by Daniel Torrente
Sentiment by Janet Klein
Well, it's time for another Stampotique challenge! This time the lovely Kaz has set us a challenge, and she has challenged us to use 'oodles of doodles'! Here's what Kaz has to say:
I can't draw and that's why I love stamping!
I'm trying to work on my lettering, but some of the Design Team can do either or both
and I am regularly in awe of their talent.
I used to be frightened of doing anything freehand,
but now I can't stop doodling and if I can do it, anyone can.
Whether it's a few dots to highlight or a simple border,
right through to drawing an accent on a stamp,
I'd like you to do something freehand on your project.
I chose to use 'Friend' from the new collection by Daniel Torrente. He's a lonely looking little guy isn't he? I doodled some flowers and highlighted the petals with a sharpie poster paint pen (similar to a posca pen). You'll see my colouring isn't that accurate LOL!
I also doodled a scribbly border:
I used some of the lush new Dylusions inks to make my background. LOVE!
Come and join us with this fun challenge. Anyone can doodle, so what ya waiting for?! Have a look at the Stampotique Designers blog here for all the details. Who knows, you may even win the $30 gift certificate to spend at Stampotique!
Byee for now...
fabulous !
ReplyDeleteMorning Kate.
ReplyDeleteWow what a great "Wall Hanging". I just love "Friend" how did you make him sort of dark and silhouette like, he looks fab.
I am enjoying playing around with Dy's inks, got my latest set due off Ben, they should come today (have 9 now!, 3 to go!!)
Will pop over and join the Stampotique challenge soon.
Take care. Debbiex
