Happy Christmas Everyone!

Phew! Life got a little hectic for a while ......... Today I can finally say I am up-to-date with eveything I had to do. Presents are wrapped, house is clean (ish), food shopping is done. Tomorrow I will actually have to start cooking and preparing for the big day (the visitors will be arriving in the afternoon so will have to try and at least look like a domestic Goddess LOL!) but for now I am taking it easy.

Above is a tiny journal page in my mini journal. If you can't quite read it, it says 'Deck the halls with boughs of holly .... Tis the season to be jolly , tired, stressed, busy, skint.....' Hmm, guess I wasn't in a great mood when I did that page! I used my new Claudine Hellmuth stamps to create the background, I think her new range of stamps has great potential for journal backgrounds. In the UK you can get them here.

Here's another inky, birdy tag I made for Dyan's challenge here.

And finally ..... I have still been wrecking my journal. (If you're not sure what I'm talking about have a look here). The Christmas post really helped me to finally finish this page:

I'll be keeping going with the calendar challenge in 2011 so a keep an eye out for more details in the next few days if you feel like keeping up with the challenge, or if you're a newbie who'd like to join in the fun.

  24. HAPPY CHRISTMAS KATE ♥♥
Hope you've had a wonderful Christmas.. Best Wishes for the New Year.xx

FAB pages & tag. :) Please can I ask.. do you gesso your pages 1st in your little book? sorry, if it sounds an obvious question.. Santa brought me a tiny Moleskine.. a page a day one & I'm thinking I might need to gesso the pages.. just wondering if it would make it too thick to close!

I'm up to-date with my 365 journal! Thanks so much Kate for the inspiration.xxx

  25. I'm a newbie and I can't wait to see the calendar challenge. This artistic form of journaling is amazing me. I've never thought of doing anything artistic with my journaling and now I can't wait to start! I'm so inspired by your work. Thank you thank you thank you!

  26. Good to see you back on line - your work always cheers me and makes me feel crafty again.

I'm going to 365 again - same enormous journal but only one page and smaller squares. I'll spend New year's long weekend getting ready (or that's the plan just now).

    Seasons Greetings and best wishes

    Kate
