Phew! Life got a little hectic for a while ......... Today I can finally say I am up-to-date with eveything I had to do. Presents are wrapped, house is clean (ish), food shopping is done. Tomorrow I will actually have to start cooking and preparing for the big day (the visitors will be arriving in the afternoon so will have to try and at least look like a domestic Goddess LOL!) but for now I am taking it easy.
Above is a tiny journal page in my mini journal. If you can't quite read it, it says 'Deck the halls with boughs of holly .... Tis the season to be jolly , tired, stressed, busy, skint.....' Hmm, guess I wasn't in a great mood when I did that page! I used my new Claudine Hellmuth stamps to create the background, I think her new range of stamps has great potential for journal backgrounds. In the UK you can get them here.
Here's another inky, birdy tag I made for Dyan's challenge here.

And finally ..... I have still been wrecking my journal. (If you're not sure what I'm talking about have a look here). The Christmas post really helped me to finally finish this page:

FAB pages & tag. :) Please can I ask.. do you gesso your pages 1st in your little book? sorry, if it sounds an obvious question.. Santa brought me a tiny Moleskine.. a page a day one & I'm thinking I might need to gesso the pages.. just wondering if it would make it too thick to close!
I'm up to-date with my 365 journal! Thanks so much Kate for the inspiration.xxx
