Goodbye May, hello June

Well, here I am, skidding in by the seat of my pants at the last minute as usual. This generally sums me up in life - never late, but never early either - kind of a 'last minute' person.

I have been good at keeping up to date with the May calendar page but I didn't even start June till this afternoon so it's hot off the press! The images are by Tumblefish at Deviant Scrap

So, who's been good at keeping up?! Leave me a comment here and I'll be round to take a peek at what you have been up to :-)  This month will be 6/12 and you know what that means? ALMOST HALF WAY!!

  1. I love the depth of colour you get on your backgrounds. I'm still keeping up and even had backgrounds ready for June although they were a crafting epic in "if it could go wrong it did go wrong". I'm definitely a deadline girl usually.

  3. I have just made my first journal entry for June ... I'm really enjoying doing this - its kept me sane at times! So yes, I'm still here!

I love May all filled in... Leopard Lady still looks a bit fierce to me but she does look good with that hat! I love your blended background for June too and those images - a touch of genius to put 2010 in their butterfly 'hats'! Enjoy half term. x x

  4. Well done - the flickr site seems to have plenty of takers. This is my twelfth month as I started in July last year although I didn't post my first efforts. I am aiming to keep it up to the end of the year. Love your 'butterfly heads' that's how I feel most days :) Jill

  12. Your pages are always so vibrant with lots of depth - I struggle with that still lol!
But I'm still loving doing the calendar and have to continue it for at least another 2 years as each of my boys wants one 'bequeathed' (morbid or what!!!)

  13. I've just done a catch up to get mine written up and posted for May. I really need an extra hour in the day so I can go back and embellish the previous months' pages to finish them.

    Love your hot colour combos.

  17. I just can't get enough of your calendar pages, they are so awesome! I've got to try this next year, which by the way will be here tomorrow. This year is going by so fast. You used that Stampotique fairy stamp too. Initially when I saw this stamp I didn't think it would be one that I would get, but then I saw and loved the card Jo Capper-Sandon made with it in combination with her great stamps. Now I see it here and I love it even more, that's it, it's final, I have to buy it right away now. What was I thinking when I thought I didn't like it? Isn't that always the way with stamps, you see another artist use it in a way that you really like and then all of a sudden you want to buy it right away.

  19. Fantastic pages, as always Kate, it still amazed me how you come up with such beautiful work. I haven't even finished May, let alone started preparing the pages for June, had grandchildren, so got a good excuse.

Keep blogging because I LOVE everything you do and am inspired to think that maybe one day I will make a journal like this ... well maybe, if life gets a bit less busy ... I can dream can't I?
