Mad as a fish

I love this image. I found it on a postcard at a fantastic flea market I went to when I was in France last summer. I'm sure he's not really mad but when I also found the very funny (and probably true!) quote in an old book I just thought the two went together really well.
My husband has a saying, which he probably made up himself, 'as mad as a fish', hence the fish images down the side of the ATC. The fish images came from the fab Paperstreet on Etsy by the way. I used Claudine's acrylics for the background and used Tim Holtz harlequin stamp to create the pattern.

Now, I just thought I would leave you with this picture today:

This is what happens when my Mum comes to stay. 'Ooh Katie, ' she says, 'I think I'll just have a little go with your alcohol inks.' Do you see the teeny weeny bit of space on the right of the table? That bit is what's left for me! Hmmmmm...............
Ciao for now...

  2. Great card. I have a fridge magnet that says 'One in four people is unbalanced. Think of three friends, if they seem OK, you're the one!'
In Australia it's 'as mad as a cut snake'.
