Autumn Days .....

For me Autumn = boots and I LOVE boots :-)  I do try and eke out the sandals for as long as possible but one day last week I almost got frostbite in my toes doing the walk to school (er..I exaggerate of course!) So, the sandals have gone into a black bin liner in the loft and out came my trusty much loved boots. Winter is a long season in England especially in the north, so it will probably be boots for the next 7 months ......

And here's the original photo I took of my fave boots whilst standing in my back garden last week:

Boots by Dr Martens

Now, I've had a couple of queries about the baby bunny we got a few months ago. Here he is now, not such a little bunny any more in fact he's huge. But he's gorgeous isn't he? And just look at him, he's so chilled out. Ahhhh!

But don't be fooled by that look of innocence, oh no! He didn't earn the nickname Harry Houdini for nothing! This naughty bunny can get anywhere - he has chewed through the iron lead (thankfull it wasn't on),he has chewed a hole in a cushion and he even jumped on top of the laundry basket and chewed a hole in a T-shirt. But he's so cute he gets away with it :-))

Thanks for all your comments regarding the new blogger photo uploader. Glad I wasn't the only one having problems. Although it seems to have sorted itself out and is working better today, go and visit Suzie's blog here as there is much more to this problem than meets the eye...

  1. Ooh, I love my boots too. It's almost like a sacred ritual getting them out. The comfort, the snuggliness...yum. I could do with a new pair, but can't find any as nice as my trusted old ones. Great page idea!

  5. Boots are cute but it's the bunny who captures my heart! I have two beautiful, adorable, stinker bunnies....one likes to walk across the computer as I type (or try to), the other likes to lick my toes (okay, she is weird). Hug your bunny for me! Too cute!

  6. I also go straight from sandels to boots, no imbetween shoes, so autumn and spring are always times to study the skys and forecasts for the changeover day, lol.

  12. Great boots, and you don't have to tell me about northern winters. Lancashire is my original home and I lived in Cumbria for 18 years .... That's a cute bunny you have there!

  16. He is so so so cute - Harry that is - I had bunny lust last week when my Dad and I visited our local pet store - they are soooooooooo adorable and I would have chosen a floppy earred one just like Harry! I never knew they were such gnawers...that's agnawing ;0)
Love your boots - I put my uggs on today that are just like slippers. I wear them in the garage (studio) and wondered..hmm...can I get away with wearing them out and around town now? (keep in mind I live in a little town where, if you dress like I used to, people think you are attending a funeral!
    Great to visit your blog!
