Fixations

Cars by Itkupilli
Wings by Tumblefish Studios

I'm pleased to say that I managed to squeeze in a little time for art journaling this weekend :-)  This is a page in my large A4 Moleskine so this page measure approx 12" x 8". I seem to go from one extreme to the other, either journaling on a tiny scale or a big scale like this as the mood takes me. I actually enjoy writing, the actual process of writing itself. We don't seem to do it much these days ..... too busy texting or e-mailing. (I am a mean two finger typer though!!)

This page is about a particular song that I have been listening to a lot lately. Music is a real passion for me, after all, it's what I trained in when I left school and it's what I do as my day job. Sometimes a song can just grab my attention even though I have heard it many times before. It's inexplicable really.........

I used a combination of acrylic paints and ink sprays by Dylusions to create the background:

I love this quote! Wouldn't it be something if you could just drive up into space?!

Byeeeeeeeeee for now

  17. I agree, Kate! Putting pen to paper is becoming a dying art. Maybe that's why we enjoy our journaling so much. LOVE your new pages! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo

  20. Hello!! Love, love, love this page...and the quote. Would be totally cool if you could drive straight upwards...also be handy if car wheels could turn a full 90 degrees, then I could give up on parallel parking for good. I'm just no good at it. xx
