Circles, circles and more circles!

Do you know how much I LOVE circles?! I think nearly all of my journal pages feature circles somewhere ... circles always seem to work - they don't seem to clash with anything.

I created a highly coloured and patterned background first for this page and then used white to add circles.

Once I created the circles I added lots of details; by picking out bits of the stencil pattern peeking though. These small dotty circles were created by using a stencil by Carabelle Studio on the first layer.

The second page was created by painting white over a print I made on the Gel plate. (You can see exactly how I made the original print *here*)

And here they are side-by-side .... circles, circles and more circles!

  3. I love circles too! I think they're pretty much in everything I do as well. I've been loving making mandalas in my journal by using cut up circles from scrap papers in my stash. So if anyone gets the whole "circle" thing, it's me! Great job on these pages. Thanks for your inspiration. I love your work!!

  4. I'm always inspired by your colorful creative work and today is no exception! Love the circles. I might try this, and then cut the circles up and put them back together differently on a card or something. Thanks!
