I'm loving the new images by Tracey Parker at Hidden Vintage Studios (Deviant Scrap). There something cute and yet slightly creepy about animal heads on human bodies and yet I find them very appealing!
I made a multi-layered, doodly, scribbly background using a combination of acrylic paints, acrylic inks, oil pastels and a few other bits and bobs ...
Of course I had to add a colour wheel somewhere ... just because ...
And I'm also loving the new Tumblefish Studio images too!

I went mad with a polka dot background on this one! I really like the way you can play with the images and make them your own, I cut her spiked head-dress out of an ATC background in the set.
Tomorrow finds me teaching my first ever 'regular art journaling' class at Art from the Heart, and I'm sooo looking forward to it, and all of the follow up ones too.
Have a good weekend whatever you're doing!
Just gorgeous Kate.
ReplyDeleteI love the Tumblefish girl she is so cute. Your colours are always fab.
Did not see you at GNPE thought I might have. I called at AFTH on the Friday, so missed everyone that went on the Saturday. Just saw Ben.

I don't normally like animal heads on human bodies, but I do like that one for some odd reason. Love the colours. Elizabeth x
