Monster Mash, Say it how it is
by Dylusions
These new Monster stamps by Dylusions just crack me up!
Don't you just love those eyeballs?! Of course, I just HAD to add a touch of red Stickles to the eyeballs .... I'm not usually a Stickles kind of girl, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
I'm taking this super-large tag with me to the Stitches trade show tomorrow at the Birmingham NEC. Hope to see some of you there :-)
This morning I was making a different sort of tag, at a workshop I run in my village. I just love this technique of alcohol ink on embossed metal, and then distressed with a sanding block. LOVE this look.

And here is the class all hard at work, helped along by some wonderful home baking by my Mum! Thanks Mum ;-)
Byee for now, enjoy your weekend!

Just love that quote :-) Eyeballs have always made me feel a bit squeamish but they look great on the tag.
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colours on that little monster ;) I need me some metal! Been seeing some awesome projects with it lately, this is fab :)
ReplyDeleteBoth tags are gorgeous. Ive got to save my pennies to get me some monsters.
ReplyDeleteI do have a question for ya. When you say super large tag just how large are we talking about?
I always have a time with making tags and always wonder what size to use and what size is norm if there is a norm.
Thanks for sharing all your awesome works. I so wish i lived closer to you guys so i could attend a class. We have none around here to attend.
Have a great weekend
Hi Mary. These tags are Ranger tags and measure 22 x10.5 cm. Ranger make tags even bigger than this! I love working on a big tag! I also mounted this on mount board so it's really sturdy. Kate x
