A wonderful time at Stitches!

Inks (Cherry Pie, Bubblegum Pink, and Lemon Zest) stencil (Flossie) and stamps (Basic Backgrounds)
all by Dylusions

I have just got back home after an amazing time at the Craft Hobby and Stitch trade show at the Birmingham NEC. I had a blast!! If you were there you may have seen me on the Personal Impressions stand playing demo-ing with the new Dylusions range alongside the one and only Dyan Reavely (designer of all things Dylusional) and my lovely, talented Ranger U buddy Kaz Hall. And I've got the inky hands to prove it!!

Here are some peeks at my inky demo samples from the show ... mostly unfinished of course!

Here I am in action! I couldn't help but notice that some people physically take a step back when you pick up an ink bottle LOL!

The PI peeps were lovely (and funny!), and it was amazing to spend some arty, inky time with these lovely ladies:

And if you want to see more, head on over to the Ranger Ink blog here, where there is a fab write up of the weekend.

I met some great people at the show, and saw some of the fab new products that will be hitting the craft shops soon woop woop!!

I've changed my plans and I'm coming to the Pan Pastel class on Thursday, really looking forward to it. Your journal pages are wonderful, love the colours and the layers. I love those stencils too. 14. Thanks for taking the time to chat to me on Sunday Kate, I enjoyed looking through your journal. I can't remember what white pen you was using, I haven't found one I am happy with yet.
Time for a rest now - or just time with the family me thinks.

    1. Hi Brenda. It was great to see you too! The white pens we were using at Stitches were Sakura, and Inkssentials. I love using Posca paint pens, and Sharpie paint pens and find that they will write on just about anything! Art from the Heart are also now stocking Montana Pens (which are also paint pens) and these are fab too. Hope that helps, Kate
