Challenge time!

Well, it's time for another Stampotique challenge, and what a great way to kick start your creativity after the festivities of Christmas day! Claire is our challenge host this week and this is what she has to say:

Hi. Claire here hoping you all had a very Merry Christmas and wishing you all a happy new year. I'm hosting the challenge this week which is "Out with the old and in with the new". If you were very lucky I'm sure that Santa will have bought you lots of new stash to play with, so you can either make a project using a combination of old and new stash (just don't forget to tell us what it is). Alternatively you might like to make something to celebrate the new year. The choice is yours!

Great challenge! I dug out an *old* background that I made ages ago mainly using acrylic paints and moulding paste on watercolour paper. I used some *new* techniques that I picked up from an on-line class with Mindy, and some *new* art materials that I treated myself to before Christmas (haha!!) and made this journaling card. I used one of my older stamps by Stampotique, but still one of my faves.

Don't forget to visit the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog for all the details and to join in the fun.

But, after two wonderful years of being on the DT for Stampotique I have decided it is time for me to step down and move on. I have had an amazing time working for a company that I truly believe in, working alongside a very talented team, using stamps that I adore :-) So before I go I need to say a huge 'thank you' to Carol and Jim (Mr and Mrs Stampotique!), and to Kim (the world's greatest organiser), and of course the stamp designers and the DT. THANK YOU!!

And I leave you with just a few of the creations I have made as part of the DT over the last two years..........

(Incidentally, this particular page has been the most viewed piece of mine on Flickr!)

Hope you have all had an amazing Christmas. Enjoy the rest of the festivities! Byeeeeeeeeee
