Well, it's that time again. Does time go quicker when you are doing this challenge?! It certainly seems to. So, if you are up-to-date then you will have completed 11/12 by now, YEEHAW! Well done to you if you have, excellent work! Only one month to go and then that will be another year behind us ... ready to start all over again in 2013 of course.
As you can see I gave my November calendar the Movember treatment ... couldn't resist ;-)
I tried to talk Mr C into growing a mo for Movember but sadly, he declined. Spoilsport. I had to make do with giving my bunny a makeover instead, although maybe I should wait until Mr C is asleep and then stamp a mo on him with archival ink bwahahaha!
I have now officially completed 3 years of calendar pages. Yes, that's right, I started my calendar in December 3 years ago, after seeing Jill's calendar pages. I was so giddy with excitement about doing it that I started in December which, looking back is a strange time to start! You may also have noticed that I started each week on a Tuesday - oops. Over the years I have tried different ways of presenting my pages, but now I stick to what works for me and then I don't get in a muddle.
Here is my first ever calendar page:
The link is below for anyone who is ready to add a link to November completed and/or December ready-to-go. At the end of December I think we should all show our entire year in art calendar pages. What do you think?
Byee for now.
My first year-begun in January-and what great joy to have completed each month!! I'll be staring 2013 in a larger journal which hopefully will allow me more creativity and room. Love your 'stashed bunny Kate! Thank you SO much for this wonderful inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI so wish I had the time to play with this calendar inspiration. Your calendar pages are always so great!
ReplyDeleteI think December would a good month to start.. after all it's a month were most people would have a LOT to write down! lol Isn't that kind of why people make December Dailys?
ReplyDeleteI love the moustached bunny rabbit :D
I have noticed that many British players start their week with Monday. Guess I just follow the regular calendar, since that is what I use to make my monthly pages. I adore how you decorate your pages, and I'm quick to mention that I need to learn to decorate mine better. Yours are always fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI just made my first calendar page a few weeks ago for December...it was fun and I am excited about doing this for every month...it really helps make a journal a 'journal'.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job Kate. Love the staches, the bird but my fav is the bunny! You rbunny is s osimple but absolutely adorable. Perhaps someone would pick up that design as I would love to have a bunny! Thanx so much for sharing and for all of the inspiration!
