Just been getting ready for my Christmas journaling workshop on Wednesday at Art from the Heart. I had a lovely play with all the Christmas Dylusions range, and really worked my background with multiple layers:
I made the snowflakes by scraping gesso through the snowflake stencil with an old credit card, and then added lots of extra splats and scrapes of paint, and a few swirls of Liquid Pearls.
I LOVE these baubles! (Touched up with a bit more Liquid Pearls - love that stuff!).
Byee for now ... Have a good Monday :-)

I might as well say it for the hundred and ninety ninth millionth time........you're amazing and you deserve every bit of success you get. Happy Holiday Season.
ReplyDeletereally gorgeous !!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant page. Love the colors and the arrangements.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate. Question? How did you do the the Christmas balls. Did you color them first on a separate piece of paper and then cut them out or what? Diane Love that page.
ReplyDeleteHi there. Yes, I stamped the baubles on the page first, then again onto paper. Coloured them, cut them out, and then added them to the page. I couldn't be bothered to cut out the tiny hooks at the top of each one, and this way I got the detail by stamping on the page first!
