Over at Stampotique there has been much excitement! We've been bursting at the seams to share with you the September new image release. This time around we are going to be featuring one of our designers each day for four days leading up to our Grand Finale of the release of all the new stamps when they will be public on the Stampotique Originals store.
Today I am thrilled to feature the new stamp designer, who also just happens to be a design team member. Welcome to group of new stamp artists R. Maria Sabina aka Lollyrot WOOHOO!
Rainy Day by R. Maria Sabina
For my first ever creation with one of Maria's images I used 'Rainy Day' (although on this occasion I chose not to use the umbrella). To me this li'l bunny looks a bit like a little old lady (is it just me?!) As I was creating this I was listening to (and hollering along to) a Garth Brooks album, and when the song 'I'm much to young to be this damn old' came on it just seemed to fit. Every time I have a birthday I think this ... I'm sure we all do :-)
I like to let images speak to me when I am using them, and it's not always easy to explain my thought path!
Anyway, do join us on a blog hop today with some of the design team to see some awesome creations using some of Maria's new images and come back and let us know what some of your favorites are. Stick with us until the final reveal on Wednesday and one of you might be rewarded with some goodies.
Kate Crane .... (you are here!)
I liked this bunny, and the quote, so much I decided to create a page in my mini Moleskine journal too!
Thanks for stopping by to visit us today and you'll want to stop back at the Stampotique blog tomorrow for the 2nd artist we'll be featuring. It's not a new one, but the artist is a fan favorite.
These are real beauties and I love the stunning background of the tag.
