Teaching news!!

Guess where I'll be going in November?

Can you guess?

Can you?!

Can you?!

Woohoo! I'm going to Holland to meet up with some of my lovely bloggy Dutch friends! The wonderful Lia Sauer has invited me over to teach at De craftorij, and you can see all the class details and booking details right *here*.

On Friday 12th October I will be teaching my Journal Inspirations class:

Come and make colourful and vibrant journal backgrounds with Kate Crane! This class will include hints, tips and ideas for making your journal pages pop! In this class we will learn some techniques for creating colourful and vibrant backgrounds using stencils, rubber stamps, ‘junk’, and more. We’ll be looking at colour – how to choose colours, looking at which colours go with which, learning the rules of colour …. and maybe breaking them! There will be hints and tips for how, where and what to write on the page with plenty of journal prompts.  Art journaling is all about the journey and the process – it’s time to let your creativity to flow!

On Saturday 13th October I will be teaching my Inky Year Journal:

Make a hand-made journal packed with vibrant colour and full of different inky techniques, separated into monthly sections for you to journal throughout the year. Use Dylusions ink sprays, stencils, gesso and a variety of rubber stamps to create a journal bound with book rings, allowing for this journal to grow and grow!

And on Sunday 14th october I will be teaching my Art Calendar class:

Make a head start and prepare some calendar pages in your art journal for the year ahead! Kate has championed this idea on her blog and has run this as a popular on-going challenge for several years. Create a colourful page using paints, stamps, stencils, and anything else you like …. fill it with daily journaling blocks … and then seize the opportunity to journal every day! Kate will talk you through the steps to creating a vibrant background, give you ideas for different layouts, and then you will be free to experiment and create!

I'm seriously excited about this:-)))  I do hope some of my Dutch friends will be able to join me for some creative, inky fun! Don't forget, look *here* for all the details.

More teaching news .... my classes at The Stamp Attic in Oxford are almost sold out!! Have a look here if you want to book one of the final places!

And finally, for all details of my other classes, at Art from the Heart (Harrogate, UK), have a look *here*. Hope to see some of you very soon!

Byeeeeeee for now

P.S. Don't forget, although I am here I am not really here! I am taking a blog break to spend dome quality time with my family while they are on school hols :-) Be back soon!
