Another project!

Well, what do you know, I am featured on a different blog today!! My projects are a bit like buses ... you don't get one for ages and then they all come along at once. If you hop on over to Marit's Paper World blog, you will see that I am taking part in Marit's Quirky Dutch Summer project, and you will see my colourful summer journal step-by-step.

I used loads of Dylusions ink sprays, with a variety of different techniques for getting colour on the page, as well as gesso, stencils, washi tape, a random selection of stamps (7gypsies, Tim Holtz, Tuscan Rose) and some chit chat words from Tim Holtz idea-ology.

I made lots of pockets for my photos (you can see me and my gorgeous buddy Kaz Hall in this one):

So don't forget to hop on over to Marit's blog where you can see the step-by-step project in full.

Bye for now ........

  6. I Love your art, and loving the dylusion sprays vibrant colors!
My Big question -- what is a good heavy cardstock that works well with both water & rubber stamping?
Regular watercolor paper has such a rough textured finish, it doesn't work well with a lot of stamps, and other papers buckle & warp so much.

    1. Hi Vicki. For this sort of project I use a coated card that I buy in an Office Supplies shop - it's called Xerox Colotech, but any coated card would do. To stamp images on i use a coated paper, from the computer section of a stationary shop. I have just got hold of some of the new stamping paper from Ranger but I haven't tried it yet.... watch this space! Hope that helps :-)
