Maria has set us the challenge over at Stampotique this time, and what a great challenge this is. Maria has challenged us to make ATCs using Stampotique images.

ATCs were my first love, and it's how I got into the whole mixed media thing in the first place. I met some wonderful people through on-line trading groups back in 2008. You can see some of my early ATCs on Flickr here, but go gentle on me - this is all my early stuff ok?!!

Incase anyone doesn't know what an ATC is (where have you been hiding?!), it is a small work of art measuring just 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". The idea is that you make an ATC and then TRADE it, yes, swap with someone!

So, does anyone want to swap a Stampotique ATC with me? As you can see I have made two which are up for swapsies ...... If you want to swap with me for one of my ATCs here, leave the word TRADE in your blog comment, and at the end of this challenge (8th May) I will pick someone to trade with using Random.org. Let's get into the spirit of things and trade!!

Don't forget to visit the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog here for all the details and to link to your creations. You may even be lucky enough to win a $30 gift certificate for Stampotique!

Byee for now .....

    1. Hi Susie, as this is a Stampotique challenge it would be nice if the ATC did use Stampotique (but I won't disqualify you if it doesn't LOL!)

  24. Oooooohh. Sounds exciting. Count me in for the trade. Do you recommend any particular type of paper or cardstock for using dylusion inks?

    1. Hi Renee,
I use a coated card for Dylusions when making something like this as I find the inks stay nice and bright. The exact card I used here is Xerox Colotech 300gsm. I also use Ranger Manilla cardstock sometimes. Hope that helps!
