More Tiddly Inks!

Drama Queen (digi stamp) by Tiddly Inks
Dylusions Ink Sprays
Stencils by Dylusions and Balzer Designs
Rubber stamps by Dylusions

Tiddly Inks is celebrating its second birthday this month, and in honour of this tremendous occasion I have created a page in my large vintage ledger journal using the wonderful "drama Queen". This image cracks me up - I so feel like this sometimes!! Of course, one of the advantages using a digital image is that you can resize it to any size you want, so I made her quite large for my large journal page.

The theme for this challenge was 'frame the moment', so I uhmmed and I ahhed, and then I decided to create an actual frame in a page in my journal! Here's how I made my pages(s).

I began by spraying Dylusions inks in some of my favourite colours (although actually they are ALL my favourite colours haha) - Bubblegum Pink, Postbox Red, and Pure Sunshine, then added a bit of texture with various stencils:

I then stamped a frame in the centre using further round the edge:

I added some more texture to the background by stamping with Basic Backgrounds, added some of the new GORGEOUS solid vine leaves from Doodle Parts, before scribbling circles with Liquid Pearls. To make the frame I just cut the centre out!

I chose contrasting colours of London Blue and Vibrant Turquoise to create the page underneath. These two colours blend to make the most lovely colour:

I put Drama Queen right in the centre of the frame, and then added some journaling - 'Sometimes everything just feels too much. Life can be overwhelming.' If I hear myself coming out with stuff like this then I know I am being a drama queen!

Thanks so much to Tiddly Inks for asking me to join them again, it is always a pleasure :-)
You can visit the Tiddly Inks shop here, which is crammed full of Digi images, and visit the challenge blog here.

  12. Great idea for the double page and frame! Do I take it that you didn't stick the pages together afterwards, and the second page is just viewed from the first but also stands in it's own right? Many thanks again for yet more inspiring pages.

I just got my Dylusions ink sprays in today! Only 3, but the London Blue and Vibrant Turquoise are 2 of them LOL
Do you spray your page wet before you use the inks, or just right on the page?
