2012 - Bring it on!

Snowy Fran by Daniel Torrente for Stampotique Originals
Spring Sprung by Tim Holtz

How did it get to a new year already? Time seems to fly and somehow this challenge seems to make time go faster than ever, if that's possible. So here's my new page for January. I don't mind admitting that I hate January, it is such a bleak month. Here in the UK it hardly seems to get light, we're all a bit broke after Christmas and it still seems like a very long way to go till summer. So with that in mind I chose to use shades of grey for my January page.

A massive welcome to everyone who is going to participate in the 366 challenge for the coming year - delighted to have you all joining in. This is how it works ..... on the first day of the month I will post my completed page for the month and my page ready to go for the next month. At the bottom of that post there will be a linky tool for you to add your completed page (see below) and/or your page for the next month. The link will remain open all month to give you plenty of time so don't panic if you're not ready for the first day of every month. I would encourage you all to visit each other's blogs and leave encouraging comments! You won't be disappointed - there has been some absolutely fabulous art during this challenge. If you like you could also add your photo to the Flickr group here and don't forget you can always find the link to this in my sidebar.

So a big WELCOME to you all for the 2012 366 challenge. Bring it on! If you feel like you need a little help to get started on this, I did a tutorial a couple of months ago which you can see here.

All there is left for me to say, is a massive thank you to everyone who has visited over the last year, and to thank you all so much for your kind and thoughtful comments. I read and appreciate every one :-)
A very happy, creative and artful 2012 to you all.
*EDIT* The list should reappear very soon - just updating the annual subscription!

  36. After seeing this challenge written up so many times in so many blogs that I looked at, and then in magazines at B&N, I decided the universe must be telling me to give this a go -- so here I am. It took me several days to create the January pages and finally linked up today! I've enjoyed visiting around to all the link-ups, and am looking forward working/playing with this each month.

  43. I've done my January pages too - I only do these now and again, and think this will be my third. I don't like this time of year earlier but you might like to know that there are daisies flowering in my lawn - which I take as a sign to remain hopeful and hold on ....
