Well, it's that time again! How did we get to the end of October already? That means we are 10/12 completed of the 2011 calendar challenge. So, the big question is, who's still in?! I think some people that were in have dropped out along the way, but we have also collected a few newbies throughout the year.......... Well done if you are still hanging on in there and managing to keep up :-)
Here is my october page all filled in. If you double click (and I know some of you do LOL!) then you will see I have had a bit of a crap month, but the only way is up, so onward and upward. Sorry about the horrible shine on the photos ... daylight is disappearing rapidly here in the UK and it's difficult to get a good photo.
And here is the month before I filled it in. Don't forget to link up below with your calendar, but don't panic, there's no rush - the link will stay open all month. Looking forward to visiting you all and seeing what you have been up to.
Ooooh It's sooo cool!! Next year I'll join and make every month a calander-journal. It's so cool!

ReplyDeleteoooo I like it, especially the colours of those shrooms :)
ReplyDeleteLoving those mushrooms add a psychic twist to October. Sooooo pleased that I have been able to keep up with the year. Lovely seeing what everyone has been creating.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you have had a rough month my lovely, please take care of yourself xxx
ReplyDeleteI love this page!!!! Such discipline!! The shrooms are great!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a shroom fan, but these are very clever and colorful. I had a bad shroom experience (the kind you cook, not the kind that produces hallucinations) and can't see to get past that experience.
ReplyDeleteI love how you make each day special. Even when there is pain, sickness, or joy, the jounaling is always complimented by some form of art addition. I know things will get better soon because you simply CAN'T stay sick and in pain forever. It's not allowed (grin).
I can't believe I was here yesterday and your post wasn't up, then I forgot to add my link later. Oh well, at least I'm not last!
what a great way to do a month at a glance! I recently purchased your DVD set and some of Dyan's fun and funky stamps to play with! And believe me, I know crap--with all the dental work I've had to have done recently, I'll soon have more crowns than the Queen! :)
ReplyDeletetoo cute! always love how your backgrounds turn out kate!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pages, I love the giant shrooms. I hope November is a happier & healthier month for you. And congrats on featuring in Somerset Studio.
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredible. I am always so amazed at what you accomplish! I hope that your school year is going great. I honestly can't believe how quickly time has passed by.
ReplyDeletebeautiful pages!
ReplyDeleteYour October was a bit different than your usual style, Kate, but it's STILL "so you"!!! Love those magic mushrooms! ♥ Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove your colour combo and large mushrooms...plus the little witch for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAlways inspirational Kate and thanks for a great year so far.
As for the beach I am intrigued as to where it is....I think I know as I am originally from the North East of England eventhough I now live in the North East of Scotland. It looks very familiar!
Happy crafting,
Erika.
