Paints, inks and rubber stamps all by Dylusions
I just love combining acrylic paints with ink sprays, you can create some lovely effects. I created this large tag above (Tim Holtz yummy Sissix die-cut) with Ruby Rainbow by Dylusions from Art From the Heart, a base layer of acrylic paints and then a good few squirts of ink!
The background of this next tag is created with several ink sprays and just a few circles of paint stamped on with bottle lids:

The house is from the 'Right up your Street' set, and I coloured it in using the ink sprays.
Here's a couple of close-ups of the backgrounds:
And here are three tags which will be making their way to CHA this week in Dyan's suitcase. If you are going to CHA this week (and I sure wish I was!) look out for these! And Dyan too of course LOL! She'll be with Ranger.
If you have a look at the Ranger website here, you will see that Ranger will now be selling Dyan's stamps. Big massive Woop Woop for Dyan!
A little while ago Dyan made this canvas journal book FOR ME :-))) It's one of those things that I wish I had made myself if you see what I mean. It's arty, gorgeous, colourful and very very tactile. Have a look:
It's got pockets .....
And stitching .....
And dangly bits .....
Aren't I lucky?
Byeee for now....

I need this jolt of color in my life right now. And I love the backgrounds you have created for the tags. They are so colorful and give such awesome results. I only wish I could make art like you. Your pieces are so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI love the tags, you always inspire me to try something new. What a beautiful journal, I need to find a tutorial to make one but I better get my calendar done before I take on much more. You've inspired me to start both the calendar for the challenge (2 months completed so far) and an art journal to document my partners IVF and hopefully her pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteEverything is just fab....so colourful I love it !!
ReplyDeleteLove how bright and vibrant the rags are and yes that journal is stunning.
