Hunk by Stampotique

February is almost upon us! So, here is my page ready to go....... How did you get on with the challenge during January? Are y'all still in?!
I decided to go with the love theme for February of course. Here I am using one of my favourite little Stampotique fellas 'Hunk'. I especially love him because of his big head! Here's a close-up, I think you can tell from this that Hunk is thinking of luuuurve XOXOXOXOX
Here's my January page all filled in. Well, I say all filled in - I got a bit behind earlier in the month and when I tried to catch up I couldn't for the life of me remember what I did on Sunday 9th! It obviously wasn't very exciting.....
As there are such a lot of us doing the challenge during 2011 I am trying something new. For the first time I am adding a linky gadget so that you can add a link to your blog post when you are ready to share your completed January page and /or your page ready for February and that way we can all visit each other. It's simple ... just add your name and a link to your blog post or Flickr Page.
HINT: To add a link directly to the post with your calendar on, click on the title of your post, copy the blog address and then add that to the linky gadget.
If you want to visit someone else's blog to see what they have been up to just click on the link below.
This link will remain open until 28th February so there is no need to rush! At the end of Feb I will blog my March page and open a new link for next month's calendars.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's creations. Byeeeeeee
oooooooooooh Loving your pages!!! Love the red and all the hearts...... & Yep I'm still in and have my pages ready to go...Just need to fill in an entry for today, and hopefully I will post tomorrow or wed!!! as always thanks for the inpsiration! Hugs Juls
ReplyDeleteLovely pages and how apt to pick these stamps!! I think I'd better head to the inks as I've only done the basic background!! xx
ReplyDeleteLove your February page. My January page is completed just need to get on with my Feb. page!
ReplyDeletegreat idea Kate. it's amazing how you can't remember what you've done from one day to the next let alone one week. I'm trying hard not to get behind for that reason lol. love your pages.
ReplyDeleteGreat page Kate!
ReplyDeleteI've posted mine on Flickr so as not to get in the way of OWOH.
Did you get your Artjournaling yet? Mine came last week.
Thats a great idea using Mr Linky, will be so much easier to see everyone elses pages. Mine is nearly finished, but completely out of glue and DS tape and can't get anymore until Wed :( lol!
ReplyDeleteI was a little behind in setting up my page (read as I never started it.) I will definitely be doing one, but I am going to wait to link my page until I actually touch the paper. :-)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to ask what paint you use for the background of your calendar? I did colored ink in January and gouage for February. So I am curious if you use the same type of paint each month, or that you experiment with different types as well :)
ReplyDeletethat page is to die for, didnt even cross my mind to do love, LOL, you'll see why when you visit it

ReplyDeleteLove your Feb pages! Hunk is such a sweet stamp, love how the hearts are coming out of his head! I also chose hearts for Feb but must admit to doing my feb page right at the begining of Jan as I was so excited to start this challenge! I am moving house temporarily in a few weeks so will try to get round everyones blog but will be super busy and won't have internet for a week or so!
