Happy New Year everyone! Hope you have a very happy, joyful and artful 2011 :-)
Here is my calendar page for 2011, and for once I am actually on time! (Something to do with not being at work over the last few days dontcha think??!) Here's a few closer peeks:
Wow, I am overwhelmed by how many of you want to join Jill and I in our Calendar Challenge for 2011, thanks to everyone who has left a comment saying they would like to join in. Can't wait to see what you all come up with throughout the year. Don't forget you can also upload your photos to the flickr group here and although this group has a title of 2010 calendar challenge I think we'll keep the same group to keep it easy (I'm always in favour of keeping things easy!).
Here is a list of everyone who is joining the challenge. Please let me know if I have missed you off or if you would like to be added (I am easily confused LOL!)
Sam - Luna
Jayne C
Jennifer (I don't have a link for you Jennifer)
Have I missed anyone? Does the link to your blog work?!
If you look in my sidebar under the title of 'My web pages' you will see a few links. One of these is a link directly to the Flickr group so you will always be able to find it. Another is a link back to my original calendar challenge post. If you click on that link it will bring you back to this post so you will be able to see the full list of who is in the challenge and maybe visit their blog to see what they have created.
And finally, just to prove I did actually write on my December page, here it is finished:
Happy New Year everyone :-)
Happy New Year to you too ! And your journal pages for 2010 look incredible. You know I've tried ... and failed after only two months LOL I think I'll just stick to admiring your work, since I will be doing Photoproject 365 too in 2011 and I know for sure I cannot finish two projects ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and creative 2011 !
My page is on my blog and awaiting it's first entry!!! (let's see if I'm this organised 6 months in!!!). Thanks for extending the challenge- I had such fun creating my first page :-) Love your January page. Happy New Year!

Have loved looking at yor blog - please may I join in with the 2011 challenge please?
ReplyDeleteAm entirely new to this challenge/swap business, and am looking forward to creating my calendars and learning from the masters (you and Jill) - your January is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFantastic page to start the New Year Kate, I've got a similar colour background, but there the similarity ends:) I'm looking forward to the challenge and meeting new bloggy friends through it... the experience is adding to my artistic journey! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou are way ahead! I've just started my background for Jan 11 and although I've journalled all my 2010 squares I had intended to decorate my pages more. Somehow I think I'd better forget it and move on. New Year resolution not to faff.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Kate, my Jan page is on my blog. Just used papers for this one as I'm still feeling like a limp lettuce from flu! Will do some months stamped and painted ones honest!!
ReplyDeleteI love your January page! soooooo..... I started my page last night, and am using a regular 5x8 moleskin which is realllllly not very big when you are trying to fit a whole calendar page, so my square are very tiny- thank goodness that microns are available in microscopic widths!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR Kate ♥♥
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your Jan pages.. sorry I didn't join the Flickr group last year.. something I've never been near.. is it hard! lol..
FAB December pages, all finished. Yeah!
I've blogged my January pages Here Thanks for looking. Have a great day. Gez.xx
Happy New Year to you, Kate! I just love your calendar (as always). Your colors are gorgeous. And, I agree with you, being on vacation for work this past week made doing a calendar easy. I promise myself, though, that this calendar will always be my relaxing-creativity time EACH month, though. (I secretly feel like making my February one right now!!!!) ♥Hugs to you. Kath

ReplyDeleteHi Kate,
ReplyDeleteI would like to add your blog to my sidebar. It's my way of keeping track. Also, since I only decided to start this project toward the end of the year, I am still in the process of finding something appropriate to write in, much less having something ready to show. However, I'll let you know when I get there, and I'll be on time in the future.
Hi Kate,

ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I've followed your blog for a while now and always find your pages inspiring. I'd love to join in the calendar project for 2011. I've been busy making my pages and cutting out hundreds of 4cm square bits of paper (thought it best to get well ahead with that part!)

ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI think I'm one of the two, where you miss the link. Here it is: http://carospinkumbrella.blogspot.com/ (it is my very first blog, so bear with me, if something might not work as expected)
I did start my calander, even if you can't yet find an entry, yet.
And: Congrats for becoming member of the desing team of stampotique. I'll deserve it!
Hi...thanks for all the work you do; it's TOTALLY FABULOUS!...long-time fan; first time post-er (I think).
ReplyDeleteI also would love to join. I'm late, obviously, but also early...I follow a lunar calendar, and in some circles, the year begins (often with oaths and troths) on Feb 2, and it does for me too, as my birthday is a few days after. I'm also using a moon/astro theme too.
Anyway, my newest, just for this stream, blog is: http://digitalmagicraftsheart.blogspot.com/
No pics yet, and my 'journal' (altering a '93 "Quicken" manual...appropriate for lateness, no?) is half-wet and drying even as I've drawn in the grid. Pics up as soon as I hook up the hardware.
Thanks again, Natalka
I;m joining the calendar challenge belatedly. I discovered you guys recently through Alcoholinky's blog. I'm skipping January for now but will go back to it. My February calendar is up on my blog. Here is my blog: http://stampingtoescape.wordpress.com/ I'm an relative newbie to blogging, so some of the mechanics may be lost on me. I'll try to catch up!
