Fun with Distress inks...

Tim Holtz and Stampotique

Tomorrow I will be running a workshop using distress inks and a variety of my fave stamps. I have been running regular workshops for a number of years now and the age range of my attendees will be from 8 to 80-something!! I have to try and suit all ages and all tastes :-)

You can't really go wrong with distress inks though can you? You can have vibrant and funky or muted and tasteful.

Tim Holtz and Stampotique
I entered this one into the Midweek stamper challenge, to use the colour orange
See here http://wednesdaystamper.wordpress.com/

The room we use overlooks the countryside and we generally gaze out across a field of cows! The weather here is beautiful at the moment, so we will throw open the doors, take our morning coffee on the patio, and play with distress inks and the bind-it-all.

  2. Everything is beautiful!! Are those ATCs? I love 'Pretend it's Real', is that a stamp, or did you draw that? It reminds me of a portal, maybe to another land or dimension, and the inhabitats of that place are peaking in on us.

  16. Where have I been ... Kate, these pieces are stunning - wish I was doing a workshop with you. Perhaps you can put together an e-workshop that you can send out to people for a price and I could attempt to recreate some of your wonderful backgrounds ... food for thought.
