Somerset Honours

I'm soooooooo excited to tell you that I'll be in the very next issue of Somerset Art Journaling WOOP WOOP! I've been bursting with excitement for months :-)  This, of course, is my very very favourite magazine EVER so I'm truly honoured to have a 6 page article featuring 9 of my journal pages, titled 'Achieving Balance'.
The first edition of this mag sold out so quickly that I could only get a digital copy, which was nice but not as nice as stroking real pages LOL! I managed to get hold of a second edition, and now I'm actually in the third! I haven't got a copy of it yet......it's due out on 1st Jan........it's worse than waiting for Christmas! In the UK you can get hold of the mag here at The Stamp Attic. If you're into Art Journaling you really NEED this magazine!

Blogging off for a few days to spend time with family, make mince pies, wrap presents (yeah I know, I'm running a little behind schedule), and stuff the turkey.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a joyous, peaceful and artful new year :-)

  1. Kate congratulations, what a wonderful Christmas present for you. I remember you saying that your Art Journal had gone somewhere and there it is. I had been for a walk with my dogs came home made a cup of tea and sat down with my art journal mag, I opened it and thought I have seen this art work before. Awesome Kate, you are so creative and inspite of what you say it just seems to flow from you. You are a natural. Well done.

  6. OMG Kate, that is just fantastic news. You are truly an inspiration with your art and how you make new styles your own. I may try out loads of different techniques, but I honestly can't say I actually have a unique "style". I love your journals and will definitely order this issue of somerset, so I can see your work in print too. Congratulations and have a wonderful wonderful Christmas ... I'll be thinking of you. PS - I have a chrissy present for you, but it'll be a new year present now (LOL, I didn't get organised this year either)!! Be on the look out. Love, Di.
