Hellooooo! Well it was great to be away but it's also lovely to be back :-) We had a fab time in the South of France but it was HOT HOT HOT, especially for us sun deprived Brits. I have spent much of my hols under the parasol on the beach whilst watching my children's feet sticking out of the sea as they dived under the water. Ah, the joys of parenthood!
Just before I bore you with my holiday photos (!!) thanks to you all for visiting and leaving comments on my blog and Flickr while I have been away. It's very nice to know that you're still there :-)))) Will be back to bloghopping as soon as I get myself organised - can't wait to see what you've all been up to.
I have such a lot to share but I'll try and slow down and do it in instalments in case I bore you all to tears hee hee. But I share this news....I am a winner YIPPEE! I won Dyan's blog challenge WOOP WOOP! Have a lookie here I am of course very chuffed to have won. Thanks to Dyan who kicked me up the butt to start journaling in the first place :-)
Now, I am taking a break from the 76 (approx) loads of sandy washing I have lined up to share just a few pics from France. Firstly a great hand drawn sign outside someone's house. Nice to know that someone is thinking of the tourists!
Me! Not just chilling out but also trying to cool down. It may not look hot on this pic but it was taken in the evening and it was still very hot. In England, if it reaches about 17 degrees, my children think it's paddling pool weather!
A great old road sign:
Journaling on the roof terrace after croissants and coffee (you can see the evidence)
Oyster beds in a glistening sun. I loved to see this but even the though of an oyster gives me the eebie-jeebies BLURGH!
Am I glad to be home? Er, erm, sort of LOL! But I do have some journal pages to share later this week.
Bye for now
P.S. Is it very sad to admit that I missed blogland while I was away???
