So, I know you might be thinking I've been quiet this week and maybe even been thinking I haven't been doing very much. Not at all, I've been a busy busy bee. I have been busy creating in my craft room but as it is for a mag article I am unable to share. However I have been having a little play with alcohol inks ready for a workshop I am running on Saturday. My regulars had a little play with alcohol inks at a previous workshop and they all wanted more! So, more we shall be doing on Saturday. Check out my new workshop blog here
Anyway, here's a sneaky peek:
Yesterday I recieved this wonderful blog award off the very talented Tanya Thanks sooo much Tanya, I'm very honoured :-)
Here are the details of the award: The rules of the award (To pick up the Lemonade Stand Award):- Comment on this blog.- Save the award logo to your own computer and use it in your own blog.- Nominate 5 to 10 blogs you feel show great attitude and gratitude.- Link to your nominees within your blog post.- Comment on their blogs to let them know they've received the award.- Link back to the person who gave you the award to show your appreciation.
Well, I may not be able to nominate 10 but I'll nominate some fellow friendly bloggers with a great attitude.
I'd like to hand this award on to:
Marion because she has been very patient, waiting for some art from me (I have posted it now Marion!) and also because her art is fab.
Dyan because Dyan is a huge inspiration and because also, one of these days she may just upload a blog award onto her blog LOL!
Shelly because she is a hugely talented artist and was one of my first online buddies. And also the reason why I have a blog. BECAUSE SHELLY TOLD ME TO!
Diana because Diana is ultra friendly, as well as talented. She has mastered more techniques than anyone else I know. She was one of my first overseas ATC swaps and we've been keeping in touch ever since.
Marsha because she is another huge inspiration and also produces fab fab art (I now now this for sure because I received some of her art in the post today LUCKY ME! I shall l blog it soon)
Roc who is another truly kind and friendly blogger. As well as a talented and prolific artist (who never seems to lose her mojo!)
And Sarah, a local friend who shares my passion for all things gluey and messy and eggs me on to spend yet more money in craft shops. My partner in crime :-) And she now has a new(ish) blog.
Er.......I think that's it for now.
Right I'm off. IThis week we have inherited a few extra animals to help out some of my family who are on their hols in sunnier climes so now I must go and feed 2 cats, 4 guinea pigs and a house rabbit. And maybe a husband if he is hungry too....LOL
Bye for now
