These aren't too tricky and are really quite fab when finished. We have two of our regular workshop goers to thank for this idea. I bumped into Jackie and Judy at the Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza last September. Meeting these two was goodish / baddish. Good because it's always great to see friends, but baddish because they picked out all the tricky looking cards at the show and said 'can we do this?' Hmmmmm :-))))))
Apologies for the shockingly bad photos but it's January which means no light. Even my trusty Ott Lite can't cope with the perpetual dark and greyness. For those of you living in warmer climates, January in England is a dreary month. According to The Sunday Times Newspaper, January 19th is the most depressing day of the year. I can well believe it. It's dark when I go to work and it's dark when I get home. Ah well, it can only mean one thing........ after we get today over with summer's on the way. Yayy!
Bye for now.
grey and dreary huh? Yup, that's how winter feels to have been here also. Except we got some snow in recent days - finally! Winter isn't winter without a good snowfall.
ReplyDeleteLove this pop up card! I need to try my hand at this again.
sunshine your way!

These cards LOOK difficult. But then again, cutting in a straight line is a challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. Love the colors and papers you've chosen.
It's cold here even in the southern U.S.A. 40's and windy during the day, and 20's at night. We get a warm front this weekend, though, so they say.
Just remember, the days will get longer and sunnier now !!!
:-)

Love the papers, they're really pretty. Did you add the bling or was it on the paper? I'm a bit partial to sparkles. I wouldn't have a clue how to make a pop up card like this ... must take a lot of patience. Hope the class was a success.
