Well, it's that time of year again! WOOHOO! Wanderlust 2025 is now officially open for registration - a year full of weekly inspiration and motivation. Beginning in January, it is a great way to kick start the new year. A new year, a new creative you!

I can't actually believe it has now been 10 years of Wanderlust! TEN!! I was lucky enough to be there for the very first one, and many since, including a year as a guest host :-) That truly was an honour.

This year I have TWO videos, PLUS a bonus video, so that's THREE! SO that is a LOT of extra content from me this year and yes, I have been very busy ;-) And here are a few little sneaky peeks of my classes to whet your appetite:

BOOK MAKING FROM THE BEGINNING

Journal pages (hand bound)

A step by step guide to building and binding your own journals INCLUDING FABRIC. But don't worry there are sew and no-sew techniques included so no skipping this lesson because you don't want to sew! Ha! 

I have a life long love of fabric (and a stash to prove it) so using it in your mixed media art and journals is just perfect :-) Fabric is so tactile, it looks gorgeous, and a bit of stitching, collage or slow stitching in your journals is just perfect. I talk you through a simple binding technique so that you can bind your signatures, and you can really go to town, get creative, and really make this project your own. Oh, and it's a great stash buster too. I even included a little extra video which is optional, so that you can create a fabric cover to neatly hide your journal away.

INCHIES, RINCHIES, TWINCHIES, MOO AND ANYTHING TINY

I think you probably already know this, but I love creating tiny. Always have! My first foray into mixed media art was through trading ATCs (I think back in 2008 yikes!) This class is jam packed with mixed media techniques where we will create lots of backgrounds first using many techniques, and then we'll top them off with drawing, stamping, collage ... whatever! So lots of technique included in this class. These are cute and totally addictive. Oh, and this is a great stash buster too. Originally intended for trading, but guess what? You don't have to! You can keep them all to yourself, stick them in your art journals, or make tags and cards.

BONUS LESSON - MY TOP 5

This is where I share my top 5 most used and loved items in my studio. Lots of little demos (alcohol ink, gel plate printing, stencils ... always lots of colour!) leading to a mini project at the end so you can play along too.

• Wanderlust 2025 marks TEN years of Wanderlust, so is a super special year and starts on Friday 2nd January 2025. It's a great way to boost your creativity and motivate you for the year ahead

• Wanderlust 2025 includes  45 video lessons  plus extras from the wonderful host Kasia Avery with a total of 30 Guest Teachers (and an incredible line up it is too)

• Content is published every Friday for members (known as Adventurers) with an instructional and inspirational video lesson plus  a helpful handout to go with it

• All videos are streamable in HD to view on our website with life-time access, also downloadable in standard definition, and all videos have subtitles available in English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch
