Printing Faux Distressed Wood...

After a short break over the Christmas period I'm baaaaaack! But I'm not going to lie - I do find it very hard to get going again in January. Not helped by the fact that we only get about 7 or 8 hours of half light at this time of year!

But here's another video for Gel Press Print-to-project series, and this time I'm sharing my faux distressed wood technique. This technique is easy peasy lemon squeezy. All you need is your Gel Press and some acrylic paint and a brayer. That's it. Simples!

Part 2 will be available in a couple of days. As always, thanks so much for watching :-)

  1. Fabulous Kate. I absolutely loved doing this technique with you at art from the heart. Each print is a total surprise and just gets better with each pull. Only issue is I can't bare to use some of them as they're so beautiful! See ya soon talented lady xxx

  2. Magic! And a tutorial I sorely need (why is it, out of every pad of 12 x 12 you only get maybe 2 sheets of decent wood effect?) Lookind forward to tomorrow's tut already!
