I've been having fun with matchboxes again! Love making these teeny tiny precious little boxes. *LOVE*! This time I used one of Dina Wakley's fab new stamps sets - All the gals. They just fit on top of a matchbox. So now you know ;-)
I made a water - colour journal to go inside this one, aged it with Distress inks, and bound it with a bit of sticky-back canvas.
This one houses a concertina journal:
This one has a tiny birdie I made out of paper clay:
And this one has a whole bunch of journal prompt cards inside:
These are so much fun... and coming soon to a class .... watch this space!

ReplyDeleteHi Kate. Loved looking at your matchboxes at AFTH. Noticed a gorgeous little rabbit stamp on either this project or your mini journal (signed up for the class). Is it a Stampotique stamp?
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'll look forward to seeing you at class :-) Not sure which rabbit stamp you mean ... but I think it is a Stampotique stamp : http://www.stampotique.com/stamp/maria-raita-sabina/7303.html
