Tiny art journaling ...

Rubber stamps: All the Gals by Dina Wakley

I've been having fun with matchboxes again! Love making these teeny tiny precious little boxes. *LOVE*! This time I used one of Dina Wakley's fab new stamps sets - All the gals. They just fit on top of a matchbox. So now you know ;-)



I made a water - colour journal to go inside this one, aged it with Distress inks, and bound it with a bit of sticky-back canvas.


This one houses a concertina journal:



This one has a tiny birdie I made out of paper clay:


And this one has a whole bunch of journal prompt cards inside:


These are so much fun... and coming soon to a class .... watch this space!

    Love what you did with the matchboxes and the colors you used.
    QESTION: What matchbox or matchbox die did you use? Inquiring minds would like to know?

      I didn't use a die because I don't have one! I used plain white blanks.

      Hi Michele, No, I just bought some blank match boxes on-line and altered them. You can get them quite easily - just try searching for 'blank match boxes'. Kate x

    Hi Kate. Loved looking at your matchboxes at AFTH. Noticed a gorgeous little rabbit stamp on either this project or your mini journal (signed up for the class). Is it a Stampotique stamp?
