Well, Christmas is almost upon us, so just before I step away from the grid for a few days to spend some quality time with family, I just wanted to share a teeny tiny Christmasy make with you. I taught this as a mini class recently at Art from the Heart as part of their preview day. If you would like to see a different version of this little book, then check out what Karen did to hers when she got home. Wowzers!
This miniature Christmas book is sort of like a star book, and sort of like a concertina fold book, but not really either of those things! It's a strange hybrid.
I created the background using Distress Paints, which is an easy and super-fast way to create a colourful fun background, and then stamped some Christmas images by Paper Artsy.
As a finishing touch I added a few chit Chat words by Tim Holtz. When folded the book measures just 2" square!
Now all there is left for me to do is to wish you all a wonderful and very happy Christmas. See you on the other side!
This is a gorgeous little book!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas, to you.
Well, whatever it is it just looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you
