OK, now onto a few other things ..... Lookie! I am delighted to say that I have had several journal pages published in the latest Somerset Studio Gallery magazine by Stampington. It is always a huge honour to be published in a Stampington magazine, so to say I am a little excited is an understatement. My journal was requested a while ago by Somerset Apprentice (for an article which hasn't been published yet) but I think journals must get handed round to different editors once they are there, so that's how I ended up in Somerset Studio Gallery! There are 9 of my pages published, some of them are quite recent but some of them I did back in 2009!!

Recently I have done quite a lot of teaching, which means a lot of packing and unpacking of arty stuff. EVERY time I try to start packing I get distracted by paint!! Every time! So, while I was supposed to packing I added a bit of paint to a mini journal page in my teeny-tiny moleskine, and added a couple of images ... the face was from a Sunday Supplement magazine, but the feet are by Nancy Baumiller (who does the most amazing funky collage downloads for your art).

And of course, I'm still playing with my gelli plate. LOve a bit of gelli! This page was looking a bit of a mess, so I doodled on it with a white gel pen and now I like it. It may be finished or I may add something .... time will tell ....

And finally .... a lovely GCSE art student called Moll got in touch with me recently to say that she has been using me as inspiration for her GCSE art. ME! Very chuffed about that :-) She made this inspiration board as part of her project, sent me a pic and gave me permission to share:

Wow, GCSE art has changed a lot since the days when I did my O'level art. I did a lot of still-life drawing of rubber plants! Good luck with your GCSE art Moll!

Right, that's it from me. Byeeeee....
