Weekend round-up!

Wow! What a weekend! This weekend saw me travelling all the way 'darn sarf' via British Rail, to teach a weekend of workshops at The Artistic Stamper, run by stamp maker extraordinaire Jennie Boxall, and husband Mal.

The workshop was ...erm ... cosy, but we snuggled in together, and got very messy with paints, inks, collage ..... It is always delightful to be met with such enthusiasm! Here's a few 'in progress' pics:

(check out the wall!)

Playing with Dylusions inks

Painted and collaged pages from day 1

Inked and stamped pages from Day 1

THE BOSS joined us for the Junk Journal class on Sunday:

Day 2 saw us all cutting junk cardboard, prepping with lots of gesso, binding, and painting to create our very own junk journals. It always seems unbelievable during the course of the day that everyone will leave with a completed journal, but they always do!!

Oooh, look at the concentration ... !

Day 2 completed journals!

It is always fantastic to meet up with on-line buddies for the first time, and put a face to a name:

Siobhan (aka Piddawinkle) always makes me laugh!

Siobhan wrote a great write-up of her experience at The Artistic Stamper. You can read it *here*.

It was a really fabulous weekend with lots of artsy creating, lots of laughs, and lots of chat. A huge thank you to every one who came along to play, and also to Jennie and Mal for taking such good care of us all :-)

Just before I go, don't forget to call back later this week for some DVD news and a huge give away. Woop woop!
