Oh, how I love new stash *sigh* Have you seen the cute new little Dylusions journal? It's so gorgeous, and a great small size to go alongside the biggie. To give you an idea of the size, here it is alongside my new stamps:
Loving these spooky additions to my (ever-growing) stamp collection. You just can't have enough skeleton heads.
Now have a look at this, this is what I call genius! A plain stamp pad ready for you to add your own Dylusions inks to create your custom ink pad. See, I told you - genius!
I love a new addition to my craft stash that utilises things that I already have (I can justify it so much better that way LOL!) This is so easy to use, you simply mist with water, spray your inks onto the pad, and then stamp.
Then you can stamp Dylusions ONTO Dylusions. And it's washable so when you want a new colour combo you just rinse and start again.
And here's something else that makes me happy :-)) Montana paint pens in neon colours. These are going to be fab to use in my doodle book, and I'm so, so glad Montana have added these brights to their range.
And now it's time for me to say a little goodbye for a couple of weeks as I step away from the computer to spend some quality time with my children over their summer holiday. We want to go bike riding, and canoeing and just generally hang out and have fun! They are growing up fast and it won't be long till they want to go off and do their own thing, so got to make the most of it ......
So toodle pip, adios, au revoir! See you soon!
Have a brilliant hols mate, hope to catch up soon.....miss you loads xx

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break Kate !
ReplyDeleteCatch you when we get home. So right aboutmakingthemostofchildren, it only happens once.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear how you find the Montana Paint Pens - I've used a different brand and it ended up in the bin pretty quick (oh yeah, I'm a bin girl). Just didn't do what it said it would. Damn I hate that.
ReplyDeleteLove the mini journal Dyan has brought out - I have a mini journal that was supposed to be the one I experimented in before I tried the technique out in my big journal. Somehow it's turned into my favourite journal. Something about the smaller size just works.
Enjoy your holiday and the summer weather.
Hi Coral. I already have quite a few of the Montana pens and I really like them. The ink flows well and they write over anything! I prefer the fine tip to the extra-fine. The extra-fine is a bit 'scratchy' and doesn't flow as well. I'm so glad they have added the brights to the range as I always felt that was missing, and having used the brights now I can confirm that they are super-bright!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an amazing new product! Have a lovely time with the children,
ReplyDeleteLucy x
You're right to grab holiday time with your children while you can. Apart from the fun at the time, I am finding that the memories help hold things together later. To say nothing of the stories they will tell when they return to school and everyone loves a good storyteller!!
ReplyDeleteI came across your art on Pinterest and I just wanted to stop by to say how much I love it. Uplifting and attractive, and some is just laugh out loud funny, but sooo pretty too. Just sayin'! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your kind words Heckety, and welcome to my blog :-)
