I'm lucky enough to be a guest designer over the Fashionable Stamping Challenges blog today, where they are presenting a most interesting challenge :-)
*EDIT* Sorry everyone - I left a scheduled blog post while I was away on holiday and it only published half of it!! Did I seem a little abrupt LOL?! This is what it should have said ......
Elliechose this exciting challenge in which the Fashionettes have all added loads of techniques onto their inspirational pieces of artwork. Oodles and oodles of stamping, inking, distressing, masking and many more interesting things which they have played around with to show you some amazing pieces of Journaling.
So, all you have to do is create a fun and colourful journal page, which must include some stamping, and then go the challenge blog here and link up your creation. Simples! And fun! What ya waitin' for?!
Kate, Love your work per usual. Haven't got to your class on 21 Secrets, but it's next.

What do you use to create these pages and more specifically, what do you use to create the backgrounds? I adore the color variety and I've always been trying to find a way to get such good vibrancy like you do!
ReplyDeleteHi Natalie, I used acrylic paints (Goldens) and also added a few splats of ink spray with added mica. Hope that helps! Kate
