Welcome to a very exciting blog hop in Celebration of 10 years of Art from the Heart!
There will be lots of exciting things happening at Art from the Heart next weekend where the big birthday bash is happening. If you want to know more then do click here.
In Celebration we are having 5 birthday blog hops. You should have reached my blog from Sam and you are on the Dylusions blog hop. Before you move on - you will need to collect a letter from me which is
L
This is part of an anagram of a Dylusions product.
Now you need to go to Dyan's blog here and once you get back to Dy's blog please email your answer to Ben.
Here are a few pics of my large A4 (12 x 8) journal page in progress. It started like this.... I painted the background with Dylusions, added a bit of texture with the basic backgrounds stamps, I stamped Corrin and coloured her with Distress inks, then stamped some vines. I coloured some of the vine leaves with Dylusions ink spray in Peridot.
I wanted some of the vine leaves a different colour, so I sprayed Lemon, Burnt Orange and Postbox Red onto a scrap of paper. I stamped the leaves onto this and then stamped some text over the top so that the leaves would pick up the text.
I'm going to journal on this page so I added some journaling lines from 'Write between the Lines'.
I added some bunting along the top and added a number to each flag by stamping the numbers from 'Bags of bunting' and cutting them out:
I gave Corrin a scrap of vintage text as something to stand on:
And then I added a bird to her head LOL!
Huge congratulations to Dyan and the team, on 10 years of artylicious loveliness and inspiration at Art from the Heart :-)
Have fun blog hopping!
