Ink sprays: Poppy and Sunshine by Dylusions
I haven't made an ATC (artist trading card) for ages but it is actually where my journey into art really began. I started making and trading ATCs back in 2008 and then moved onto altered art and eventually art journaling. I still like making ATCs - the size of them (2.5 x 3.5") is still appealing to me, and it's quite a challenge to work on such a tiny scale. I created this background with two of the new ink spray colours by Dylusions - Poppy and Sunshine. These colours are gorgeous and work really well together.
'Sweetmoves' is from the new collection by Daniel Torrente for Stampotique, and is available in the UK here. She is quite a large stamp but I didn't let that put me off adding her to an ATC - as long as the main features are present I think you can afford to lose a limb or two on the ATC :-)

I started with ATCs in '08 as well. It is interesting to hear how people get started in papercraft. (My real start in journaling started way back at Scrapblog dot com which isn't really up and running the way it was when I was a newbie which is too bad. I loved the digital work.
