It's challenge time over on the Stampotique Designers Blog, and this time Kim has set us all the challenge to create something with a love / valentine theme. I couldn't resist using Uncle Buck to create a page in my journal as he has a face that surely only a mother can love :-) The quote, of course, is a line from a Beatles song.
As this is the first challenge of the month you can use any stamps (although it's great if you use Stampotique!). To play along in the challenge have a look here.
Around the image I have journaled ..... love is for life not just for Valentine's Day ...... which is a bit of a spoof on the well known (UK?) slogan .. a dog is for life not just for Christmas ...
I used Hearts Cubed to create a row of Valentine themed flowers along the border:
