Paints, inks and house stamps by Dylusions
I've had one of those blurgh weekends ...... the whole family is a bit under the weather with a cold / cough type bug and that leads to frayed tempers all round. Nothing serious, just enough to give the entire family a sense of humour by-pass. Our children are tired and just looking at one another is enough to cause an argument - you know the line 'but he's looking at me!' as if it's a terrible offence ....(if you have children I know you are giving a knowing smile right now ...)
These are the things I have done today:
Homework (not mine obv.) = yuk
Supermarket shop = yuk
Unpacked the shopping = yuk
Cleaning = yuk
Laundry = yuk
Ironing = double yuk
Made dinner = yuk (although funnily enough was quite happy to eat it washed down with a nice glass of vino blanco)
Roll on Monday (never thought I'd hear myself saying that!)
Anyway, enough moaning. Thought I would share a couple of pages from my grungy mini journal. I love to work in this journal when I am short on time as the pages are so small they don't take long.
I don't often read my horoscope but just occasionally it might catch my eye as I am flicking through the Sunday newspaper. This one seemed to sum things up very nicely:
Here's a close-up of the painty, inky, stencilled, stamped first page:
Byeeeeeeeee for now.

ReplyDeleteWell, at least you got some nice pages out of it. I spent this weekend pretty much in bed, coming out of bed or going back to bed. Was I sick, no I was lazy tired. When out of bed I just read or watched dvd's. It was the most unproductive weekend I've had in ages, but I must say, this monday morning I feel good for having rested so much ;-) I needed it.
