Art Printing - Flowers and Leaves
Art Printing Coasters - Mandala Medley
Little Skittle
designed by me! for Carabelle Studio
I actually had time for a good ol' inky play today with my *new* designs for Carabelle Studio.
Seems like everything has been affected by the Covic pandemic and the subsequent restrictions, and impacts on businesses. Supplies can be held up which has a knock-on effect and so on, and so on ....
But today was a fun day for me and I've got very inky fingers to prove it ;-)
I wanted to play about with one of my new Art Printing plates - Flowers and Leaves - to create some background papers. I LOVE the grunge effect of this one, created by using positive and negative prints from the texture plates, and then picking up with a neutral colour:
I also managed to pull an extra pick-up print and I LOVE this one!
These two prints became backgrounds for pages in my much-loved junk journal. I used my new Mandala Medley coasters with alcohol ink (see my previous blog post for details of this). The Mandalas are designed from the centre out, so they are great to position your main focal image on:
And in this second page I cut one of the coaster prints in half and placed them on opposite sides. They make a great shape to journal round.
The new designs are available from Carabelle directly, but should be with retailers very soon ....
Love it. These look absolutely fab.
ReplyDeleteTh coasters are on my wish list! Love ‘em x
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Thanksgiving Ms. Kate Crane! Love the Carabelle Texture Coasters! Can't seem to find them anywhere. Would like to purchase them. I wanted to get them for my Birthday which is on the 27th November 2021(tomorrow). I did find them on a website called Vaessen-Creative.com. Can not purchase them because I do not have a vat number. Love Your Art Work!
ReplyDeleteHi there, Not sure where about in the world you are but if you click on the Carabelle tab at the top of my blog you will find links to stockists. Vaessen-Creative are mostly a distributer and supply the retailers which is why they are asking for a VAT number. Hope that helps.
DeleteThank You! Merry Christmas! I will keep you posted if I find them.
