Well, it's that time of the month again, and this time I'm ready for once! Spring is on it's way here in the UK... well, sort of ... we've had ALL types of weather this week, but I've got lots of frogspawn in my garden pond so that is a sign ....
I used my delicious new Dylusions paints for my background. Mmmmmm, I'm liking these! Fab colours ......
... and lovely consistency great for art journaling. And the open pots are back yay yay yay! I missed those.
I used one of my new designs for Stampotique as my Easter Bunny. I coloured it with Copics but then stamped on it too, using Design Cube 2 by France Papillon.
Here's a few in-progress pics:
Don't forget the calendar challenge is on Facebook and Flickr, or you can ;link up in the comments below.
Byeeeee for now. Happy April everyone!
Dyan's paints look amazing Kate, good to see them on your journal pages which are fantastic! Enjoy April and all the weather changes :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, never heard of that paint. It looks lush, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm still playing along, although I'm not on any social media site except blogger: http://alteredbooklover.blogspot.com/2015/03/march-complete-and-april-ready-to-go-in.html
Hard to believe I've been at this for over four years.
Love the colours used in your background. Dylan's paints are amazing and work so well for art journaling.
ReplyDeleteooh nice! Are they as bright as they seem? I've been wanting to get some.. but i'm always disappointed cuz I feel like I can never find colours that are as saturated as I like.. :(

Yes, they are as bright as they seem. Quite fluid so not good for texture, but lovely bright colours which layer really well. I also like Amsterdam acrylics for bright colour.
DeleteFab calendar page, the background is gorgeous & Ruff looks great. I love the colours of the new Dylusions paints.
