Ooh, I love a girl with attitude! And Daniel Torrente's new 'Penelope' stamp certainly has plenty of attitude. I used a large tag to make this hanging, and sprayed with Dylusions inks before adding touches of paint, gesso and stitching. I also added lots of texture with France Papillon's new Texture Cube. Love that stamp!
I coloured the gal with my Polychromos pencils. Her hair is actually quite blue ... it may look a little grey in the photo. I doodled some flowers along the border and she looks as if she is about to snip their heads off with those scissors in her hand LOL!
Love Penelopes's attitude, most of all i want that colour hair lol!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pages Kate :-) xxx
Great tag. Love all the texture and colours, especially the blue hair. I have this stamp on pre-order, she looks fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is the GREATEST tag ever! I absolutely ADORE it! Not only the colors, textures and patterns, but her little face is just priceless! FABULOUS!!
ReplyDeleteOh she is delightfully nasty. Love her so much!
ReplyDeleteIt is very beautiful :) I really love how you do your backgrounds, they are really interesting and gives a lot of live to the finished piece :)

ReplyDeleteHi Kristina, I didn't get your email but at least your message on the blog came through! Thank you :-)
