The Kathryn Wheel: About Me

Hi, I'm Kate!

I am happily married with grown up children, living in a rural village in the north of England, UK, with various small animals. I am a teaching artist, and crafts tutor teaching in the UK and other parts of Europe, and love to share my passion for all things arty with others.

I currently work as a designer, creating rubber stamps, art printing plates, and stencils for Carabelle Studio.

The Pandemic of 2020/21 put a sudden stop to teaching in person so I had to change the way I worked. I have produced many on-line and LIVE Facebook classes which can be found in my Etsy shop.

I have also filmed MANY free to view video tutorials for both Gel Press and Grafix Arts. Look for the tabs at the top of my blog page to find these.

I have contributed regularly to various magazine in the UK and USA, and have been on several design teams. I have had my art published in several publications including Somerset Art Journaling, Stampers Sampler, Artful Blogging, Somerset Studio, Somerset Apprentice, and Art Specially for You (NL).
