Well, I don't know about where about you are in the world, but here in the UK we are still in complete lockdown due to the pandemic. If we though this was just for a short while LAST March we were very much mistaken. At first teaching classes live was a bit of a shock to the system but now it really is the only way forward, and it turned out to be a surprising way to keep connected with fellow artists. Thank goodness for the internet.
So my next LIVE art journaling class is on 28th Feb at 3PM GMT (please check local time to you). Classes usually last for about 2 hours, and in this class we will aim to make two pages. the recording stays in the group after the event so you can always re-visit.
All of the details can be found **here**
I'm using quite a lot of watercolours this time just because I love them :-) As well as some of my new supplies for Carabelle Studio (although you can use any image)
We're also going to use watercolours to make our own images to add to the page:
Here are the full details:
In this current climate it would be so easy to dissolve into despair but in Art Journaling class 8 we will continue to art journal and create, and play with layers of colour despite our peculiar circumstance. Art is good for the soul. Staying creative keeps us grounded and focussed in times when it would be so easy to slip into despair.
This time we are going to play with watercolours as well as the usual acrylic paints because I just LOVE watercolours so why not? I am using small palettes of craft watercolours and also some Ecoline liquid watercolours but you can use ANYTHING WATER-SOLUBLE.
So, join the group as soon as you can, and then check back before class because more info will be added including what to prep for class so you can get ahead and be ready, as well as the usual step-by-step photo help sheets.
Get yourselves a nice cup of tea, get comfy, grab your favourite art supplies and let's art journal our way through this pandemic.....
